GigaSpaces remains best known for its in-memory data-grid and -processing expertise but in recent years had expanded its purview to address cloud enablement and orchestration. With that business now spun off as Cloudify, the company is once again primarily focused on in-memory computing, and has combined its long-standing in-memory data-grid technology with a more recent foray into data science and analytics with the launch of its InsightEdge Platform.
